It was a thrilling end to Sunday's (July 11th) Torneo Fundador Zobel, as Santa María managed to claim victory over Ayala in extra time, the final scoreboard reading 9-8.
Throughout the match, proceedings were very even. Ayala led the way prior to the fifth chukker, 8-7, and then Santa María managed to equal the match, which led to extra time, which was when Del Pino scored the winning goal for Santa María.
Next weekend's schedule includes the Torneo Toñanejo, prior to the XXXIX Torneo Internacional BMW de Polo, that will be presented on Tuesday, July 13th in Madrid.
