The III Provincial Sports Awards, announced by the Sports Journalist Asociation of Cádiz (APD), have been made known, and this year Santa María Polo Club have been awarded with Sport Promotion, recognizing the Club´s efforts in the last years to promote and spread Polo and make Campo de Gibraltar a Polo reference in Europe and the rest of the World. The prize will be delivered on December 23rd in Teatro San Francisco, in Vejer de la Frontera, during a show that will start at 20:30. Santa María Polo Club, one of the best Polo Clubs around the World, organize three Tournaments included in the World Polo Tour ranking (WPT): Memorial José Ignacio Domecq in the Challenge Cup; Sotogrande Gold Cup in Grand Slam (as the British Open in Cowdray Park and the US Open-Palm Beach), and the Silver Cup in WPT Championships Cup (as Queen Cup in Guards Polo Club and the Gold Cup in USA). Apart from this, Los Pinos area will be intensely developed, in social economica and sports terms, giving this area, with the present premises (4 polo World Class grounds, a 2.500 square meters premises for events, parking for 1.000 vehicles, stands, palenques, etc…) a serie of social installations and hospitality (Club House, Commercial Area, Luxury Hotel…) and a wide area for complimentary services.
